Kastner Joins SterlingStamos in New York as Fixed-Income Head

June 16 (Bloomberg) -- Michael Kastner has joined investment firm SterlingStamos Capital Management LP in New York to oversee its fixed-income investments, according to Richard Auletta, a spokesman for the money manager.

Kastner, 45, said he started his new job two weeks ago, after leaving Deutsche Bank AG, where he had worked since 1998. SterlingStamos is based in New York and manages about $1.6 billion.

At Deutsche Bank, Kastner was head of taxable fixed income in the private banking group, responsible for about $10 billion of securities.
