Kuo and David Hood have joined private investment firm SterlingStamos Capital Management LP ("Sterling Stamos")  to oversee its real assets investments.  Sterling Stamos is a registered investment adviser that invests broadly across five traditional major asset classes, including fixed income, absolute return, public market equities, private equity, and real assets.  The firm, which has offices in New York City and Menlo Park, manages over $2 billion in aggregate capital.

Kuo started her new job in early October after leaving Stanford Management Company, the investment arm for Stanford University, where she co-managed a $2-3 billion global real estate and natural resources portfolio for Stanford's endowment.

Hood joined Sterling Stamos in June 2005, having previously worked in the real estate business for over 20 years with a variety of private real estate investment and development companies, including Lone Star Opportunity Fund, Carmel Partners, and Trammell Crow.
